Dave Douglas of Guided Munich Photo Tours

Guided Munich has a lot of experience taking travel photographs.

In 2010, Dave traveled around the world for three months, publishing the best pictures each day on traveldave.com. That’s about 5 photos (out of >100 taken) per day. Check out some of the highlights below!

Baby and father, Peruvian rainforest Wild monkeys in the Amazon rainforests of the Tambopata reserve. Can you spot what the baby is looking at? Hint: it’s tiny, but it stings! This cute little one is leery of it too.
Sydney Opera House and Harbor Bridge The famous Sydney Opera House, framed by the Sydney Harbor Bridge. This photo was taken from Mrs. Macquarie’s Point, a fantastic viewpoint. Tripod and long exposure required!
Na Pali coast of Kauai, in the Hawaiian Islands The beautiful Na Pali coast of Hawaii’s Kauai Island. Taken during a helicopter tour. It’s not easy to get good shots through a Plexiglas window while flying! But the best views are usually from a helicopter, if you have the chance to take a ride in one.

Dave’s teaching credentials are widely varied.

  • At White Oak Semiconductor in Virginia, Dave taught classes for employees, explaining memory chip testing processes.
  • While working for Infineon in Germany, Dave traveled to several worldwide locations (including China and the US) to teach designers about cost-optimization processes.
  • During a trip to Qimonda Malaysia, Dave led a course in problem solving, teaching new skills to a group of young engineers.
  • As a Boy Scout, Dave taught skills to younger Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. (That was a long time ago!)

In fact, Guided Munich is so confident in our teaching abilities that we offer a money-back guarantee. If you believe after your tour that the experience was not a valuable one, we will refund your purchase price.
